## Position Overview: Costing Analyst (Management Trainee)
As a Costing Analyst within our Management Trainee program, you will play a critical role in bridging financial metrics with production operations. This position offers exceptional exposure to global manufacturing standards, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic financial evaluation in a fast-paced industrial setting.
## Key Responsibilities and Technical Competencies
To thrive in this role, candidates must possess a solid grasp of manufacturing economics and financial modeling. Your day-to-day responsibilities will leverage the following technical expertise:
* Cost Accounting Mastery: Apply intermediate-level principles covering material costs, direct labor, overhead allocation, and tooling expenses.
* Quotation and Pricing Management: Navigate Request for Quotation (RFQ) workflows and execute accurate cost component calculations to determine competitive finished goods pricing.
* Production Blueprint Interpretation: Utilize Bill of Material (BOM) concepts and demonstrate familiarity with diverse manufacturing and production methodologies. Technical drawing comprehension is considered a distinct advantage.
* Data Analytics and Reporting: Leverage advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities—including VLOOKUP, complex nested formulas, IF statements, and Pivot Tables—to analyze, interpret, and summarize high volumes of daily financial data.
* Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP): Bring foundational knowledge or hands-on experience with modern ERP environments such as SAP or Oracle.
## Essential Qualifications and Requirements
