The Accounting position at the Nila Breeding Center is vital for maintaining financial accuracy and operational efficiency within our aquaculture division. We are looking for an individual who is not only proficient in fiscal reporting but is also eager to gain hands-on experience in the field of fish cultivation.
## Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a central role in translating complex agricultural data into actionable financial insights. Your daily responsibilities will include:
* Financial Reporting: Executing precise transaction recording and preparing comprehensive financial statements.
* Cost Management: Calculating cultivation expenses, including feed, seed procurement, and general operational costs, as well as determining the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
* Asset Monitoring: Managing the oversight of biological assets, specifically tracking fish stock levels within our ponds.
* Partnership Accounting: Handling the documentation for partnership agreements and profit-sharing distributions.
* Data Analysis: Conducting cost control audits and variance analysis to ensure budgetary adherence.
* Performance Tracking: Developing detailed profit reports for every individual pond and cultivation cycle to support executive decision-making.
## Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a blend of technical financial knowledge and a proactive, professional attitude.
* Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
* Experience: A minimum of one year of professional experience in Accounting or Costing roles.
* Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with professional accounting software.
* Analytical Ability: Exceptional attention to detail and a strong capacity for analytical problem-solving.
* Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn about field operations in aquaculture.
* Professional Advantage: Previous experience within the fisheries or manufacturing sectors is highly regarded.
