## Job Responsibilities for Health & Safety Officer
As a Health & Safety Officer under a permanent employment scheme (PKWTT), you will play a critical role in safeguarding the workforce, assets, and operational continuity of the company. Your core duties will include:
* Program Execution: Implement and report on all Health & Safety (K3) programs, activities, and initiatives in strict alignment with corporate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), governance frameworks, and applicable regulations.
* Risk Management & Inspection: Conduct comprehensive hazard and risk identifications, hazard analyses, daily monitoring, surveillance, and operational inspections to guarantee total compliance and prevent workplace accidents, occupational illnesses, fires, and explosions.
* Emergency Response & Mitigation: Execute swift corrective and mitigating actions during workplace accidents, occupational diseases, or emergency incidents, followed by thorough root-cause investigations and necessary follow-up protocols.
* Performance Evaluation: Measure and evaluate occupational health and safety performance metrics, formulate strategic recommendations, and draft actionable improvement plans to continuously elevate the company’s safety standards.
* Stakeholder Coordination: Maintain active internal and external coordination regarding occupational health and safety matters, manage regulatory safety inspections (such as K3, fire extinguishers, generators, and lightning rods), and generate compliance reports.
* Training & Socialization: Educate, socialize, and monitor the implementation of rigorous Health & Safety standards for businesses operating within the commercial district ecosystem.
* Target Alignment: Ensure that departmental objectives seamlessly integrate with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and the Integrated Management System, encompassing quality targets, anti-bribery measures, and K3 protocols.
* Continuous Improvement: Propose innovative evaluations and developmental strategies to leadership to foster ongoing operational excellence.
## Candidate Qualifications
To qualify for this esteemed position, applicants must meet the following educational and professional criteria:
* Educational Background: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) or equivalent qualification majoring in Occupational Health and Safety (K3) or Public Health.
* Professional Experience: Preferred minimum of 2 (two) years of hands-on working experience within the HSE/K3 sector.
* Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
* Work Style: Proven capacity to collaborate effectively within a team environment as well as execute tasks independently.

## Essential Technical Competencies and Skills

Mandatory Certification: Must hold a valid General K3 Expert (Ahli K3 Umum*) certification issued by the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia.
* HSE Expertise: Comprehensive mastery of Health Safety Environment Management, covering HSE Risk Assessment, HSE Risk Controlling, Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, HSE Inspections, and professional reporting.
* Design Literacy: Familiarity with creative design and editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, and/or Canva is considered a strong advantage.
* Language Proficiency: Active command of the English language, demonstrated by a minimum TOEFL score of 400.
